Alternate costumes

Complete the following goals to unlock the corresponding costume for the indicated character.

Unlock Bon Clay

Unlock Hina, then successfully complete Event Battle as Sanji under the hard difficulty setting.

Unlock Ace

Unlock Bon Clay and the third costumes for Luffy, Zorro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper and Robin (by completing training mode with them), then successfully complete Event Battle as Smoker under the hard difficulty setting.

Unlock Shanks

Unlock Ace, complete Event Battle under the hard difficulty setting as Luffy, Zorro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper and Robin, and unlock the Windmill Village and Marine HQ stages. Then, successfully complete Event Battle as Luffy under the hard difficulty setting.

Restart a battle

Pause the game if a defeat cannot be avoided during a battle. Select “Equip” and resume the game at the start of the battle, with all energy restored.

Get Mar onto the ship

To get Mar on the ship, go to Sephy and Zeus. When you have a choice to let them join you, say no. Go back to the cabin area and you’ll see Mar.

Regain health

If you are running low on health, just shoot or attack the Electric elementals (small wavy line of electricity). They will go away and refill your health. They will reappear soon after that, allowing you to refill your health as many times needed.

Defeating Gaia

Equip the Hand of Pyro and Bite of Lightning. Attack and destroy the two arms, then the white-orb. Block all the attacks Gaia does. Use Bite of Lightning to easily destroy the little robots Gaia throws at you. Do not call the Elemental Summon; you will not have enough time. When only the head remains, shoot Hand of Pyros at Gaia until he dies. Remember to block all attacks.

Play As Gogandantess

Successfully complete story mode with all twelve default characters, then defeat Gogandantess in versus mode.

Play As Jujudormah Ran

Successfully complete story mode twice as Jujudormah, then defeat Jujudormah Ran in versus mode.

Play As Kojirou Sasaki

Successfully complete story mode as Miyamoto Musashi, then defeat Kojirou Sasaki in versus mode.

Play As Mega Man Exe

Successfully complete story mode as Samanosuke Akechi in story mode, then defeat Megaman EXE in versus mode.

Play As Miyamoto Musashi

Successfully complete story mode as the small fish soldier, then defeat Miyamoto Musashi in versus mode.

Play As Nobunaga Oda

Successfully complete story mode with all twelve default characters, then defeat Nobunaga Oda in versus mode.

Collect the Green, Blue, and Purple Crystals as Mega Man EXE.

More Victory Souls

When you are playing in the Phantom Realm, let the souls be sucked up by the Gyaran (the floating ball of skulls). After you let this happen to a couple victory souls, destroy the Gyaran and all the souls that were sucked up by the Gyran will now be doubled.

Easy Experience

Find a stage that your character could first fight with an enemy, or any stage that your will touched the enemy before the enemy fights you. Then, choose the lowest level character from your team, and train it in the stage. For example, after you just touched the enemy and gain the little bit experience (about 48 experience points), and just before all your team members end their turn, escape from the match. Then start over. Continue doing to earn a lot of experience.

Unlock Oni Kid

To unlock Onimusha Tactics’ only hidden character, you need to complete All 16 Floors of Phantom Realm.
