Poke-Navi

This is a useful item with multiple functions.

Map: This will display a map of Houen. You can move the pointer with the D-pad and can also press A to zoom in.

Poke-Info: This will display information about your Pokemon stats. These may show how much of a chance your Pokemon has of winning a Pokemon Contest. These can be raised with Poroks (the berries).

Trainer-Dex: This will show information on all of the trainers you have fought.

Hall Of Fame: After defeating the Elite 4, you can see your Pokemon that defeated them in the Hall of Fame.

Gym tactics

First, try using Kyamome or a Water/Grass starter. Then, try Water/Fire starter Grass at level 20 to 25. Finally, try Sandshrew with lots of Ground attack.

Recommended starting Pokemon

The best type of starting Pokemon (in order) are: Water, Grass, and Fire.

Pokemon Contest

In Pokemon Contest houses, you may enter your Pokemon into a contest for a chance to win a medal. However if you enter without any Porok level ups, you will have a very low chance of winning. The way to raise this is to go out and find the trees with berries on them, then press A. You will then receive 1 to 4 berries. If you now go to a Pokemon House, you will see small gray machines on the right. The empty one on the top is for multi-player. For now, find a house in a city that only has a man at the bottom. Go to the other side of the machine and press A. You will then be asked to pick a Porok (berry) and throw it in. The spinner will come down and start moving. The objective is to press A just when the spinner hits your arrow:

Circle Within A Circle: Direct hit (much faster)

Circle: Near hit (slightly faster)

X: Miss (slower )

The faster you (and your opponent) get the spinner moving, the better. Once the meter at the top hits the end, it is over and the results and the fastest RPM the spinner was moving will appear. You will then receive a Blended Porok. The level of it depends on how fast you got the machine going. The average appears to be 11. Next, open your Special Items Pocket and go to your “Pez dispenser” type item (which you must have to play the game — it is obtained from the girl in the first contest house). You will then pick a Blended Porok and feed it to a pet, making one of his Pokemon Contest stats (viewable in the Poke-Navi) go up. Some can even raise multiple stats. The more you do this, the better chance you have of winning.

Watch TV For Hints

Watch television to see commercials advertising bargains and the like. Here are some occurences to keep your eyes peeled for:

A commercial for the Mauville Game Corner. When it plays, head over there for increased prizes.

A commercial for the Lilycove Department Store. Get a discount after you see the commercial.

Pokemon sighting information. When the TV tells you a specific Pokemon is spotted, go to that location to find the monster in question.

A commercial for the Slateport City energy guy. Go to him to get energy items at a reduced price.

Battle Tower Prizes

Complete tasks in the Battle Tower to earn the following prizes:

1-5 Victories:

Calcium

Carbos

HP Up

Iron

Protein

Zinc

6 or more Victories:

Bright Powder

Choice Band

Focus Band

King’s Rock

Leftovers

Mental Herb

Quick Claw

Scope Lens

White Herb

50 Victories in a row:

Award Ribbon

Silver Shield

100 Victories in a row:

Gold Shield

Shedinja

This Pokemon is very easy to obtain, but is quite good. It is the only Bug and Ghost type Pokemon. It has 1 HP no matter how high its level, but its special power Wonder Guard makes it almost invincible. Wonder Guard protects against all attacks except for those that are super effective. For example, Bug is weak against Flying types; if someone uses a Flying type move on Shedinja, it is going to get hit. To get Shedinja, you will need a Nincada. You can catch one on Route 116. Make sure you have a free slot for a new Pokemon (Shedinja). That means you can have only five Pokemon, including Nincada. Make sure you have at least one of the type of Pokeball you used to catch Nincada with. For example, if you caught Nincada with a Great Ball, make sure you have at least one Great Ball. Get it to evolve at level 20 into a Ninjask and learns three new moves. Once you are back out to the normal screen, go to your Pokemon. You will see that you just got another Pokemon, Shedinja.

Sharpedo

Once you are able to track down Sharpedo in your Pokedex, do whatever is necessary to capture it. It is an excellent Water/Dark Pokemon that already knows Crunch, Dark’s most powerful attack. His speed is incredible and will be of great use later in the game.

Regis

Use the following steps to capture the three mysterious Pokemon called the Regis. Go to the southeast part of Route 134 and dive into the water. It is difficult to get to due to the currents, and it is the only deep part of that route. You will find a cave. At a part of the cave, there are some Braille writing on the wall. At that point, float to the top of the water, where you will end up in a cavern. Go into the last room by going forward, use Dig, and in the next room you must do something strange. Put a Relicanth in the front of your party, and a Wailord at the last place. Walk to the top of the room and read the Brail . You will trigger an earthquake, which will unlock the Regis. You can fish up a Wailmer to evolve at level 40 at Route 122, and find a Relicanth outside Sootopolis in the underwater grass (rarely, but it is there).

Registeel

To find Registeel, you can access a volcano in the southwest region of Route 120. Enter it, then move towards the center of the room. Use Fly to find Registeel.

Note: The Braille writing for catching Registeel is: “With new time, hope and love, aim to the sky in the middle”.

Regirock

To find Regirock, fly to lavaridge, bop down the mountain, and enter the desert. In the southern part of the desert, you will find a cavern. Enter it, then walk up to the center tile at the top of the room. Go two steps down and two steps right. Use strength to open the passage to Regirock.

Note: The Braille writing for catching Regirock is: “Right, right, down, down. Then, use strength”.

Regice

To find Regice, in Route 105, there is an island on the west side that has a mountain on it. Go there, enter, and stand in front of the tile. Press A, read it, press A again, and do not do anything else. The door will open after 2 or so minutes, and the last Regi is yours.

Note: The Braille writing for catching Regice is : “Stop and wait. Wait for time to pass twice”.

Rayquaza

Go to Pacifldog Town. Then, surf to the east to Route 131 until you pass the boy and girl facing each other, that are separate. You will see an opening between some rocks. Go there and surf west. Keep going and you will see a cave opening. Go through it and enter the building. Go to the top of the building to find Rayquaza. Note: On the second and fourth floors, to pass the cracks you will need get the Mach bike to go at full speed.

Note: You need to beat the champion for Sky Pillar to be reachable.

Ralts

To catch Ralts, a Psychic type Pokemon, early in the game, go into the grass directly outside of Petelsburg. You must have a positive disposition to encounter this Pokemon, which means your Pokemon must be attracted to you. This early in the game, it is almost impossible for them to really like you. It is weak at first, but a powerful Psychic type Pokemon can be very useful later in the game. Found in Route 102.

Pikachu and Pinsir

Found in the Safari Zone.

Pelliper

Mudkip

Mudkip is a Water type Pokemon. You can get it as a starter. Mudkip evolves in to Marshtomp at level 16 and it is a Water/Ground type Pokemon. Marshtomp evolves later at level 36 to Swampert, a Water/Ground type.

One of the best moves are Mud Shot, Earthquake, Blizzard, and Surf. Note: When you get Muddy Water, replace Water Gun with it. Then, when you get Surf, replace Muddy Water with it.

Mew

Mew is the only Pokemon that can learn all TMs and HMs. He can only be caught through a GameShark or CodeBreaker code.

Minun and Plusle

Found on Route 110.

Milotic

This is a great Pokemon to have. It is a Water type which learns some Dragon moves and eventually Recover. Feebas does not evolve into Milotic they way a normal Pokemon does. To get Feebas to evolve, you must increase the beauty of it. To increase the beauty, it is best to use Indigo and Liteblue Pokeblocks. Save some Corn and Aguav Berries to make Pokeblocks with. Feed Feebas a number of Pokeblocks until its beauty is nearly at maximum. The next time Feebas grows another level, it will evolve into Milotic.

Magneton

Get the scanner in the abandoned ship. Then, go to Slateport City. Go to the where the ferry is located and give the scanner to Mr. Stern. He will ask you to trade for his Deepseascale and the Deepsea Tooth. Choose either one of them, then give it to a Clamperl. This will raise its stats and allow it to evolve when traded. To get Gorebyss, give Clamperl the Deepseascale then trade it to a friend with a link cable. Then, have them trade it back to get Gorebyss. To get Huntail. give Clamperl the Deepseatooth and do the same thing.

Golduck

Other than by evolution, it can be found in the Safari Zone.

Feebas

Feebas can only be found on Route 119, and is very hard to find. Feebas only appears in six tiles on the route. The tiles are random, depending on the popular phrase you used in Dewford. Catching this Pokemon requires a lot of time and patience. However, when evolved into Milotic this Pokemon is very useful. To capture Feebas try using “Mudkip Ball” as your popular phrase in Dewford. Later it turns to “Natural Flowers”. Wait until “Natural Flowers” is the popular phrase or attempt to change it yourself. To find Feebas, get to Route 119. Start at the bottom and move north. Stop at the first little lake, immediately after the large patch of tall grass, and go as far left on the lake shore as you can. Surf, move one tile north, and fish with a Super Rod. Note: The tile locations may vary from game to game.

Dodrio

Other than by evolution, it can be found in the Safari Zone.

Deoxys and Jirachi

You cannot get Jirachi and Deoxys during the game. They are given away through a Nintendo event, much like Mew and Celebi were in previous Pokemon games.

Chimecho

Found at Mt. Pyre (outside area, on the very top).

Castform: Recommended moves

The best moves for Castform are Blizzard, Fireblast, Thunder, and Solar Beam.

Castform

After you save the weather institute, talk to the man blocking the doorway. He will give you the Castform. It changes form, depending on the weather. It knows Hail, Powder Snow, Rain Dance, and Sunny Day. It is a Normal type and is at level 25.

On the rectangular piece of land, you will find TM02 (Dragon Claw), which gives Attack 80 and Accuracy 100. Bagon evolves into Shellgon, then into Salamence. Salamence is like a fire dragon; cannot learn water attacks, but can learn Flying, Fire, and Dragon attacks.

Azurill

When you get the Sea Incense from Mt. Pyre, breed two Marill (male and female). Give the female Marill the Sea Incense and put the two Pokemon in the Daycare Center. When you get the egg, you will get only male Azurills. If you gave the Sea Incense to the male Marill, you will only get female Azurills.

Altaria (other than evolution)

Found at the Sky Pillar.

Absol

Found on Route 120 only.

Getting a female starter

Keep starting the game over repeatedly until you get a female starter.

It could allow you to leave it at the Day Care with a Pokemon of the same Egg Group. Eventually, it will breed an egg. This allows you to have more of the same Pokemon.

The Pokemon that will hatch from the egg will be the same species as the female.

Get all three starting Pokemon

Wait until you can buy a Pokeball and catch at least one Pokemon. Trade with a friend at the Pokecenter. Make sure that your friend has a Pokemon to give away. Trade the Pokemon you selected in the start of the game, then start the game again. Continue this process until you have all three (Torchic, Treecko, and Mudkip). Make sure that when you trade to your friend, he has kept the Pokemon you have given him or her. When you have chosen the last starting Pokemon, catch two Pokemon. Trade with your friend again to get back the two other starting Pokemon you previously gave him. You should now have Torchic Mudkip and Treecko.

Latios and Latias

When you get the Master Ball in Team Aqua’s/Magma’s lair, do not use it on Kyogre/Groudon. Latios and Latias will eventually appear in your game, and they are extremely difficult to catch. They will run from route to route.

Just after you finish the game, on television there will be a report about a one-of-an-kind Pokemon that is now loose in Hoenn. It will show up all over Hoenn in the grassy areas. You will only have one chance to catch it. It rarely appears. It depends on which game you are playing; Latios for Pokemon Ruby and Latias for Pokemon Sapphire.

When going after Latios and Latias, always use Repels so you are not interrupted by other Pokemon.

Xatu

Other than by evolution, it can be found on Safari Zone.

Wailord

Other than by evolution, it can be found on Route 129.

Wailmer

Go to the house near the water in Mossdeep. There should be a man standing next to it. Get the Super Rod from the man inside the house. Go down the steps of Mossdeep to the shallow water, where you can walk. Stand at the edge and use the rod. Wailmer will almost automatically start biting.

Volbeat and Illumise

Found on Route 117.

Tropius

Found on Route 119.

Treecko

Treecko is a Grass type Pokemon. You can get it as a starter. Treecko evolves at level 16 and turns in to Grovyle, a Grass type. After that, it evolves again at level 36 to Sceptile, a Grass type.

Torchic

Torchic is a Fire type Pokemon and you get it as a starter. Torchic evolves at level 16 and turns in to Combusken, a Fire/Fighting type. After that, it evolves at level 36 into Blaziken, a Fire/Fighting type.

To use Torchic and not get defeated by the first Gym Leader, train it until it evolves to its second stage. It will learn Double Kick. Use it against the first Gym Leader. It is very effective against Rock types.

Tentacool

Tentacool can only be caught with an Old Rod.

Swampert

To make it easier for Swampert to help defeat the Elite Four, teach it Surf, Ice Beam, and Earthquake, plus a move of your choice.

Shiny Swablu

A shiny Swablu can be found just outside of Meteor Falls, where Zangoose is caught. You will find a lot of Swablus. Keep searching and you can find a yellow/gold one.

Surskit

Found on Routes 102, 111, 114, 117, and 120.

Slakoth

Skitty

Other than trading for Pikachu, it can be found on Route 116.

Skarmory

Found on Route 113.

Zigzagoon

Catch a Zigazoon as early as possible. Where ever you go and whatever you do, always keep the Zigazoon/Linoone in your party. Its Pickup ability will net you rare items throughout the game. Be sure to not to give him an item so he can pick things up. You can get anything ranging from Super Potions and Full Heals to Rare Candies, Full Restores, and even rare items such as King’s Rock.

The Two Pokemon Of The Elements

When going after the legendary representing the team of your game (Team Aqua or Team Magma), bring about 30 Ultra Balls, quite a few Revives, and at least a level 50 Pokemon. The Pokemon will be at level 45, and will be extremely difficult to catch. The only sure way to catch it is if you bring a Pokemon with a move that will freeze or paralyze it. Try as hard as you can not to kill it, but get it down to a red zone so far down that you can barely see it. Then, go mad throwing Ultra Balls at it. Do not use other Pokeballs. The will help greatly against the Elite Four and the final Gym leader.

Itemfinder

While using the Itemfinder, if it rings look near trees and rocks . For example, sneak behind the Berry Master’s house and look by the trees to find a Revive. Also go by the ocean shore in Mauville, Mossdeep, and Lilycove. All around the water you can find Heart Scales . After you have Surf, go to Dewford and surf north. You will find some land. Search all around it and you will find a Heart scale . Look by the Daycare Center to see some grass blocked by a tree. Cut it down and search all around inside to find an item.

Berry Blender: Speed up

Instead of pressing A once, press it several times on the first turn. You can get up to 40 RPM on the first turn if done correctly. After that, keep double hitting on every turn until about 80 RPM, where it gets too fast. This should increase speeds phenomenally. It is possible to get up to 150 RPM in three player on the first hut, with Laddie and the old man.

Lilycove city: Items

Once you go to Team Aqua’s or Magma’s hideout in Lilycove City, do not leave until you have collected the Master Ball, Electrode, and Nugget.

Lilycove City: Game Freak

After defeating the Elite Four, go to Lilycove City. Go into the inn and talk to the man there. He talks about some people who call themselves Game Freak. If you go upstairs you will find them, just like in Celedon City in Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Also, go in front of the inn keeper watching television. He will get mad and yell, “Hey you, down in front! Move I can’t see the television!”.

Lilycove City: Fans

When you complete the Pokemon League, you will have three or four fans. If you notice, the people on the top part of the building will say that they like other trainers better than you. However, once you capture about 185 Pokemon, two of those fans will become your fans. Once you have all 200 Pokemon, they will all become your fans.

Fallarbor Town: Egg

Go to the hot spring and talk to the old lady to get an egg.

Rotating people are attracted to you

Note: You must have the Running Shoes. Walk, run, or ride on your bike up to a person that rotates (looks north, east, south, and west repeatedly). Now run (hold B) around the rotating person and he or she will watch you in every direction, as long as you are near.

Pink Poochyena

First Go to Route 103 and start searching until you find it (it will work better early in the game).

Free Premier Ball

First buy at least ten Pokeballs and you will get a free Premier Ball.

Getting the Mental Herb!

NOTE: Before attempting this, make sure your either you’ve have passed Fortree cityand on the way to Mossdeep city (It doesn’t matter if you have done anything else you just have to be up to the part where you have passed Mossdeep city.

Firstly go to the last tree house in Fortree city, that has the guy next to it that says Sniff… You, uh…smell singed. Where you at a volcano or something? Next go to the Kid that has the Wingull next to him talk to him then talk to his Wingull (If the Wingull went when you talked to the boy its O.K.). It will fly off to Mossdeep city. When you fly/reach Mossdeep city, go to the house where the staris are to Mossdeep Space Center “The closest place to place”. There is a guy and a girl in the house. Talk to the girl then talk to the Wingull (If the Wingull went when you talked to the girl its O.K.) Then fly back to Fortree City and talk to the boy. You will get the Mental Herb!

Swampert

The best moves for a Swampert are Surf, Ice Beam, Earthquake and Muddy Water. Muddy Water is not essential, but with the other three moves and a decent health bar you can defeat the Elite Four with only one pokemon.

Metagross

After you defeat the champion at the pok?mon league go to Mossdeep city to Stevens house and there is a pok?ball on the table that contains a Beldum a Steel/Psychic pokemon that already knows the move Take Down give it exp.share that you can get in Rustboro city from Devon.corps after you deliverd the packedge to Capt.Stern just talk to M.Stone the president of Devon Corps train Beldum with the exp.share to level 20 and it will evolve to Metang also a Steel/Psychic pokemon and it will learn the moves: confusion and Metal claw train it further to level 45 and Metang will evolve to Metagross a very strong pokemon of the types Steel/Psychic.

Salamence

(you need the HM move waterfall before doing this hint) Go to Fallarbor town and go from there to meteor falls go across the waterfall and go deeper into the cave until you reach an area where you can find TM 02 Dragon claw walk around on the little peace of land where you found that TM 02 and you may encounter a BAGON a dragon pok?mon (I found it from Level 30 and 35 (35 is the best)train it (with exp.share if you want this works faster than training.) an train it a level further and it will evolve into SHELGON (dragon type pok?mon) train it further to Level 50 and it will evolve into SALAMENCE and learns the move FLY (SALAMENCE IS A STRONG DRAGON/FLYING POK?MON)

Flygon

Go to lavaridge town and then go to the desert and catch an Trapinch train it to level 35 and it will evolve into Vibrava then train Vibrava to level 45 and it will evolve into Flygon with the types dragon / ground and the abitity LEVITATE this ability prevents that ground attacks hit.

Mystery Events Club

After defeating the fifth gym leader,go to the Pokemon Center in Petalburg city. Then go inside the Pokemon Center. Talk to the man standing beside the PC. He will ask you for your new profile. Type in MYSTERY EVENT IS EXITING. The man will say,”You know the secret saying! So that means you are a member of the MYSTERY EVENTS CLUB. You will then be able to access the MYSTERY EVENTS icon in your main menu.

Beat the Pokemon champion easy!

Train your pokemon that knows surf up to level 65 or over. His pokemon are all weak on water. I have got a Kyorge level 83 that knows surf. I went the the whole pokemon league without getting hurt. I have beat the pokemon league champion 6 and still going times. You try.

Cradily

Go up from Mauville until you reach the desert which will be Northeast to you. Carry on going Northeast over the desert until you reach in the trop right and corner, two fossils. You can pick one up and then the other one will disappear. Once you have picked up the fossil, go to rustboro city.Go north from the pokemon centre. On your left, at the top of rustboro city you’ll see a big palace. It has two large doors on either side. Go inside it. Go all the way East then up North and up the stairs. The first row of computers that you face, there will be a man who likes fossils. Go down to him.Once you have spoke to him, just mess about in that room for a bit. About 2 minutes late go and speak to him again. He’ll say thank-you for waiting. You have to make sure you have an empty space in your 6 pokemon list. He will give you a pokemon called lileep. Evolve that into Cradily. Cradily is a rare fossil type pokemon. That fossils turn into it. The Pokemon champion has it as his 3rd pokemon. Enjoy the strenght of it!

Amulet coin

After you finish your dad’s gym at Petalberg city,go back to your house at littleroot town and talk to your mother.your mom will be overjoyed seeing that badge and will give you an amulet coin.

Latias Cannot Escape

When you get the Go-Goggles and defeat the Elite Four, catch a Trapinch in the desert. Keep it up the top of your party until you run into Latias. Trapinch’s special abilaty is ‘Arena Trap’ which means the foe cannot escape. So if you used the master ball on Grondon/Kyogre you still have a chance. But make sure you train it to a high level like 70 so you can weaken it first.

Poochyena

Pocheyena is found on the first route you go in.

Recommended Party

For a really strong unbeatable party have the following pokemon. Your starter pokemon at last stage:

Regice

Regirock

Registeel

Rayquazza

Salemence

Blazikan

What I think are the best moves for Blazikan are double kick, flamethrower, slash, and fire blast.

Green taillow

To find green taillow keep walking around in route 116 and you will find it.

Groudon Recommended Moves

These are my Groudon’s moves:

Solarbeam

Fire Blast

Earthquake

Eruption

These are my moves because since Groudon is a ground type, he is weak to water, grass, and ice(I’m pretty sure). Water can be taken with solarbeam(and because of Groudon’s Drought abillity, which has the same effect as Sunny Day, solarbeam will not have to charge up). Grass and ice can be taken out with any of his fire moves. Earthquake is just a strong move(and since it is the same type as its user, it gets a 50% attack bonus)

Quik Leveling Up

Here are a few tips to raising your Pokemon levels fairly quickly, though it?s still slower at higher levels, but faster than before. Take the Pokemon you want to train and put it at the front of your party equipped with EXPERIENCE SHARE. Go to the Elite Four (Pokemon League) and battle them. The Pokemon you are training will come out first switch it with a stronger Pokemon in your party. Then continue to battle. This way the Pokemon you?re training get exp. for EXPERIENCE SHARE and battling a little bit. Also trade Pokemon you want to train a lot the more they are traded the more experience they can earn. My level 91 Riachu has been traded about 5 times and can level up 3 time at the league by itself. Hope it helps!

How to beat the elite four

Here some pokemon to beat elite four with at these level:

The Ultimate Pokemon Team

Here is the ultimate pokemon team. Typhlosion (got from Pokemon Colloseum). Attacks: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Dig, Flame Wheel. Latios, attacks: Ice Beam, Dragon Claw, Luster Purge, Psychic. Blaziken, attacks: Blaze Kick, Brick Break, Earthquake, Sky Uppercut. Swampert, attacks: Surf, Earthquake, Muddy Water, Ice Beam. Sceptile, attacks: Leaf Blade, Giga Drain, Solar Beam, Quick Attack. Groundon, attacks: Earthquake, Solar Beam, Eruption, Fire Blast. All these pokemon are at Level 100.

Good Pokemon Team and (Elite 4 & Champion)

Blaziken Lv.87 or more- Blaze Kick, Double Kick, Sky Uppercut, any of your choice

Crobat Lv.85 or more- Bite, any other Dark moves

Kyrogre Lv.70 or more- Sheer Cold, Ice Beam, Surf, Hydro Pump

3 more of your choosing

These three are the only pokemon that I use to defeat the Elite 4 and Champion.

Blaziken’s double kick(or sky uppercut) and blaze kick are enough to take out Sidney’s Pokemon. Crobat’s dark attacks will take out Phoebe’s Pokeemon in a snap. Again you will use Blaziken against Glacia, his/her double kick or sky uppercut will knock each on of them out with one hit. You will use Kyrogre and it’s ice beam to take out everyone one of his Dragon Pokemon. Then for the Champion (Steve), I use Blaziken’s Blaze Kick on everyone of his pokemon except for Armaldo and Cradily I used Sky Uppercut.

This team has never let me down. I have beat the Elite 4 and Champion 12 times and still going.

Deoxys & Jirachi

To get Deoxys and Jirachi without having to get ‘Promotions’ and ‘Game Sharks’ you have to do this. Get all 8 badges. Then press start (go to menu) and go to your Trainer card. If you look next to your name you’ll notice that you have a small yellow star there. Well to get Deoxys and Jirachi you need five and to get five you need to do special things. So far I’ve found out that you have to:

*Get all 8 badges

*Get full Pokedex(200 pokemon)

*Beat Master rank in all contests

Cycling Road Walker

When you enter Cycling Road from Mauville, there is a little, short trail. The trail is located next to the ramp and is in the bush area. If you follow it, you will find a trainer. Note:The trainer is a Psycic trainer.

Rocket launch

The only place you can do the rocket launch is at mossdeep city, go to the space center and talk to this guy looking out the window he’s in a white lab coat. Talk to him and if he says “the rocket has launched succesfully” and he says a number at the end if it’s 56 or higher but not 100 or higher then he will ask you if you want to go to space say yes when you get to the moon there will be the legendary pokemon Deoxys save before you battle this pokemon but don’t use the master ball because if he says 100 you’ll get to space but instead of Deoxys there will be an even rarer pokemon Jirachi use the master ball for him he’s extremly difficult to catch.

Don’t hunt for Latios

If you hunt for Latios it will be a waste of time let it come yo you then catch it! Tips: master ball, if you don’t have one use Trapinch (arena trap), Golbat(mean look).

Bonus Berrys

To get bonus berrys go to the berry masters house and talk to his wife about good sayings when she asks you for one type in:

Super hustle for the Belue Berry

Cool latios for the Durin berry

Challenge contest for the Pamtre Berry

Great battle for the Spelon berry

Overwhelming Latias for the Watmel berry

Note: You can use one code a day.

1 Pokemon=Beaten Elite 4

The one pokemon is a blaziken level 83 which shoud know Sky Uppercut Blaze Kick Overheat and a fire move. Use sky uppercut and blaze kick on Sidney use the fire attack on the 2nd person Blaze kick on the 3rd and Sky uppercut on the last person and on the Pokemon champ (Steven) Sky uppercut and overheat kills him in one turn.

Obtain The Legendary Deoxys or Jirachi

Go to the space station at mossdeep city and talk to the scientist looking out the window with the lab coat on. If he says the rocket has launched successfully and then says a number 56 or higher he will ask you if you want to go into space. Say yes. You will be taken to the moon where, Deoxys will be use the lottery technique i mentioned before and use a mater ball to catch it. But if the scientist says a number 100 or higher this means you will encounter a Jirachi! May your space exploration be a bright one!

Where To Find Latias On Ruby

Latios is all well and good, but having both is better! You can find Latias at the southern island. You will of course need anohter master ball no problem, just go to lilycove department store and go to the lottery corner. Get 6 matches and you get a free master ball! you can of course catch many other pokemon like groudon using this lottery technique. It’s just another way of making an experienced pokemon trainer’s life, a little bit easier.

Vileplume and Bellossom

To get a Vilepulme or Bellosom don’t waste your time leveling up. To get Vileplume give a leaf stone two Gloom and to get Bellossom give a sun stone to Gloom. To get a leaf stone you need a green shard which is found under water then give it to the guy who needs shards in the middle of the sea.

Free TM

When you go to the museum at Slateport for the first time, there will be Team Magma grunts. Talk to the one closest to the entry and he will give you a free TM.

Dewford Gym

When you enter Dewford gym, it is very dark. To make it lighter you have to battle trainers. But I found a way where you only have to battle one trainer. First, take a right. Then go up. Next go left. it should bring you to a wider hall. Follow it to the top and turn right. Follow that passage and it will take you to brawly, the gym leader.

HM Flash

Flash is found in the cave on Dewford island. The hiker in the doorway is the guy that has flash. Talk to him and he will give it to you.

HM Cut

Cut is found in Rustboro City in a house with a sign out the front that says cutters house. It is located next to the pokemon centre.

Six Free Soda Pops

On Slateport beach, there is a house. Inside there is three trainers. One a girl, one a little boy and a sailor. Defeat all these trainers and talk to the guy next to the soda machine. He will give you six soda pops.

Shiny Pokemon

Through the game you will find rare pokemon called shiny pokemon. There is at least a shiny of every pokemon able to catch. These shiny pokemon are found in any area in the game. a good place to start looking is caves. These pokemon are always stronger than the original.

Find Jirochi

You can find Jirochi in tall grass. It will take a long time though.

HM Surf

After beating your dad at the Petalburg gym, go left of the gym. You will see a house go in it and talk to a guy he will give you HM surf. Note:If you didn’t pick the pokemon mudkip you should teach a marril it (or you can get a Tentacool by getting the old rod in Dewford).

Vulpix

Vulpix can be found at mount pyre in the grass.

Best Starting Pokemon

I would suggest Mudkip, because its a strong water pokemon and when its in stage 2 and 3 its unstopable(unless theres a grass type). These are some of its strong and weak points.

Fire-unstopable

Water-fair

eletric-unstopable

grass-no chance

Ice-fair

Recommended moves:

Muddy Water-Fire,Ground,Rock

Brick Break-Rock,Ice,Dark,normal,

Earthquack-Rock,posin,Fire,electric

Ice Beam-ground,flying,Dragon

How to get a level 40 regice

First of all get lots of different kinds of pokeballs and catch a wailord and a relicanth. Once you’ve done that go to Pacifidilog town and go all the way south. Then surf west through the currents keeping south at all the times. I can’t tell you the rest but when you reach a diving point dive down into it. Go south until you get to some dots on the wall. Go up to them and press B. When you get to the surface get onto the land and go all the way north to you get to that riggid wall. Use dig and it should open. Then put Relicanth at the front of your party and Wailord at the back. Leave it and it should say “You heard a door open far away” or something like that. Then get out of that place and fly to Dewford. Walk up north then surf west until you can go north. When you see a island with trees on it on your westgo on it. Cross the island and surf up north. There will be a little cave. Go into it and go up the wall and press A. Leave the dots on the screen for 1-2 minutes and it will open. Press A on the silver rock and prepare to catch a level 40 regiice.

Where to find Jigglypuff

To find a Jigglypuff you have to go to Rustboro City and then you will have to go to route 115 and have to surf all the way north and then you will see a little island, go in the island, then you have to go all the way up and you will see a grass and go in it and you will find a Jigglypuff.

Top 3

Make sure that you always have Salamence, Flygon, and Blaziken. These three will really help you out. Because Salamence can learn crunch, Blaziken will help you against Sidney, glacia, and Steven. Flygon is really good to have because it can learn crunch and is really honest.

Mirrage Island

Go to passifidog town(you know , that town floating in the sea where you cant run). Now, walk down and go to the very right house and enter it. Then you see a man staring right out of the window. Talk to him. When he says:”I can’t see Mirrage Island today”, you have bad luck and have to try again an other day. But when he says that he can see mirrage Island, surf to the east and you should be there.

Blue Electrike

The only place that you can find a blue electrike is to go to slateport city and head north. then they’re should be a grassy area on the left. so now start searching for it.

Chimecho

To find Chimecho, go to Mt Pyre (route 122) on the top floor (outside) Go to the far right where is a patch of grass. Search in there. After AGES (*yawn….zzzzz*) you should find a chimecho. Strangely enough, I would find them more often when my enemy team was there. But that’s probably just a coincidence.

About mirrage island

That stupid man keeps saying that he can’t see mirrage island today. I think that he can only see it when you’re about to catch groundon(you know, when the sun shines the whole time)cause that other man in the house say that it appears and dissapears depending on the wether. So before you cath groundon, check the man!

Power-up

Some people think that brickbreak is weaker than earthquake.

Well, that’s true.

A BIT TRUE.

Cause when a fighting pkmn uses brickbreak, its stronger than earthquake.

Let me explain myself:

If a pokemon uses a move that is the same type as the user’s type, its 1.5 times as strong! When its super-effectiv on your opponent the move’s power is increased again. The same story for crictical-hit.

Example:

A normal type uses explosion(type mach x 1.5)and it is a crictical-hit(x 1.5) and it is super effective agaist opponent’s type 1(x1.5) and type 2(x1.5) than its having a power of 1898.4375!

Conclusion:

Its better for a blaziken to use brickbreak than earthquake!

All around tips

Don’t waste your time trying to find Pokemon like Seviper or Lunatone. They can only be found in Sapphire Version, so trade with a friend. Also, alot of the Pokemon you’ll have to trade with a friend who has Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, or Christal, such as venasaur, gastly, abra, squirtle, charmander, Etc. Etc. Etc. No body likes to waste time, and that’s why I made this production. Thank you, you’ve all been realy great tonight!

(Applause(This means you))

No, but seriously folks, airline food, what’s the deal with that stuff? But, back to the point, um, Why didn’y they Include Pokemon like Cubone or Marawack? (My two favorites from Red, Blue, and Yellow versions) But at least they included Zangoose (Route 114), who is cool. But, I like this crowd…

(Applause)

Well, back to the subject. Here’s a little tip for the Eleat 4. Here’s the type of pokemon I suggest having with you:

1st Guy……………………..Fighting

2nd Guy……………………..Fire/Grass

3rd Guy……………………..Fire/Electric

4th Guy……………………..Water/Ice

Champion…………………….All types

(Remember, you’re Pokemon have got to at least be at level 57 each, if you even want a sporting chance.)

(More applause)

Well, here’s a little reminder for if you haven’t caught Groudon yet, then we’ll wrap it all up till next time. Don’t use you’re master ball (found at Magma hideout or won in lottery), wait to use it on Rayquaza, he’s WAY tougher. I would suggest a few Ultra balls used on Groudon. Well, that’s it for now, later!

(Still more applause)

All around hints: Volume I

Hello. Now here’s how this will work. Like a book, O.K.?

Table of Contents

1.Time Savers

2.Elite 4 Strategies

3.Intemission

4.Fire Qualities

5.Water Qualities

6.Grass Qualities

1. Time Savers

Don’t waste your time looking for Pokemon like seviper, lunatone, or bannet. They can only be found on Sapphire Version. Also, don’t look for pokemon like bulbasaur, squirtle, charmander, etc. For them you have to find a friend who has Red, Blue, or Yellow Versions. There are many Pokemon you cannot get.

2. Elite 4 Strategies

Well, here are some good Pokemon types to have when on the Elite 4.

Guy #1……………….Ground/Fighting

I would use Groudon and Meticam.

Guy #2……………….Fire/Grass

I would use Groudon and any tough Grass type.

Guy #3……………….Fire/Electric

Something like Groudon and Electrode

Guy #4……………….Water/Ice/Dark

Get a strong Garaydos and teach it a dark move if you can along with a strong water attack like surf.

Champion……………..Combo of all

Like stated above, there is no strategy for him, but I would definitely train some tough Pokemon.

Intermission…

4. Fire Qualities

Fire is good against grass, steel and ice, why I would use them in the Elite Four. Their weakness are water.

5. Water Qualities

Good against fire and rock. Use in Elite four (at least I would). Bad against Electric. No questions asked.

6. Grass Qualities

A little advantage over water and ghost(It’s probably good against dark types too). It’s weak against fire(I mean WAY weak.)

That’s all till next time!

All Aournd Hints: Volume II

Welcome Again! Well, let’s get right to work.

Table o’ contents

1.Save your ball

2.Up, up and away

3.Intermission

4.Get this!

5.Starting Pokemon

6.Ultra Easy Prizes

1.Save your ball

When you get to the cave of origin, beat Maxie, and get to Groudon, if you can, save your master ball for Latias or Rayquaza. It is much harder to catch it, (I mean after you just beat Maxie, who’s pretty tough) but it will be even tougher to catch the others. Just a suggestion.

2. Go to the Space Center in Mossdeep City. (You might want to wait for a loooooooonnnnnnnngggggg time.) Go to the guy at the window in the white lab coat on the 1st floor. If he says that’s launch #56-99, you get to go catch a rare pokemon in space. If he says that’s launch number 100+,

you get to catch a rarer Pokemon, but be careful, if you ask one and he says a number below 56, he’ll never say a higher number, ever.

3. Intermission

4. Get this!

When you first start out, catch a Shroomish. It’s effect can stun or poison a foe at touch, it already knows stun spore, and I think it already knows leech seed and absorb. But, oh, there’s more. At level 16 or 17, it learns Mega Drain. Here’s an exellent strategie. If you’re in a battle, use leech seed first. Then use Stun Spore. After that, use Mega Drain. It’s almost unbeatable.

5. Startng Pokemon

Here’s the 411 on the starting Pokemon.

Mudkip: Easy at beginning, gets tougher

Torchic: Hard at beginning, gets easier

Treeko: Same toughness throught game

Using this, it will help you decide what your starting Pokemon.

6. Ultra Easy Prizes

Go to the trick house (north of Slateport) and do the challenges that follow. Do it correctly, and the man in the back will give you a prize. I think you can eventually win an ultra ball.

Well, that’s it. Keep your eyes out for a special segment devoted to Pokemon type pros and cons.

A cool trick

Note: You have to have alot of money. when you are bying mail, balls etc… buy 99 of them. Then buy another 99 or less. Then exit the shop and go into your bag. Go down to where the item is. If you got over 99 there should be 2 sets. It looks like they are same type of item but looks different! Not much but it is something.

Mirage Island: Final conclusion

I finally know how to get there!

It depends on your pokemon party what the guy say. Every pokemon has a number(not a pokedex number but just a number). Each time you deposit a pokemon from your party or do a box activity, the number chance. So your party has 6 numbers (if you have 6 pkmn in it, but you have to or else this cheat wont work). If the 6 numbers ar correct then you can go to mirrage island. I know that female pokemon have good numbers and that Latios + Latias have good numbers. Mirage Island isn’t big. You can only find a gold berry and a Wynaut + some other pokemon there.

Rare Starter

For this cheat to work, you need to start a girl trainer, but name it a boys name and you should get a different colored Pok?mon. Note: It might not work but I got a yellow Torchic.

Hoe to get Ruby in Sapphire

This cheat only works with the visualboyadvance emulator and you’ll need the pokemon ruby and pokemon sapphire edition (if you don’t have them, you can mail me). the sapphire edition must be unused, so there must be no save game. What you need to do: defeat the pokemon league in Ruby without saving the game EVER, only use the file-save option or the F keys. WHen you defeated the elite 4 and the champion, it will save the game. then, open sapphire. you will see that the game is saved on the name you had in ruby and now you can catch lotad, lombre, sableye, seviper and lunatone, and you’ll find shuppet and plusle easier. you can’t catch kyogre, but the story remains the same. you can now catch latias instead of latios. all your previously catched pokemon will still be in your PC.

Duskull

Duskull is very easy to catch. You can find it next to Lilycove city. You can also find it in Mt.Pyro or outside of it in the grass. Duskull is only common on Ruby, and rare to find on Sapphire.

Shop Items

Darts mini-game ($4,000)

Stuffed Dodo ($2,500): Unknown

Coconut Shy mini-game ($3,000)

Laser Sight ($100): Helps your aim.

HUD Goggles ($5,000): Show ball paths.

Skeepool mini-game ($3,000)

Hidden Cave mini-game ($5,000)

Dropzone mini-game ($8,000)

Hidden Cave

After buying the Hidden Cave mini-game at the store, go to the practice table. Start a game, and point towards where the hidden cave is supposed to appear. From the break position, go to the right at about the 2 O’clock position and point at the cave located there. If done correctly, you will be able to select the map in the following step. Press Start to pause game play, then select the ‘Inventory’ option followed by ‘Sub Games’. Then, select the Hidden Cave map. Answer ‘Yes’ when prompted to quit the practice game. You should now be at the Hidden Cave, with a treasure chest with money. After reaching it the first time, it becomes unlocked at the main menu at the island rock.

Find Latias

Once you become the Pokemon League Champion, pay extra attention to the TV. It will broadcast information about a super-rare Pokemon. After that, be on the lookout for the Latias, which is exclusive to the Sapphire version of the game.

Pelliper

Other than by evolution, it can be found in Slateport, Pacifidlog, Evergrande, Mossdeep, Lilycove, Dewford, Routes 103,105 through 109, 110, 115, 118, 119, 121 through 123, and 124 through 134.

Magneton

Other than by evolution, it can be found in New Mauville.

Magikarp

Magikarp can only be caught with an Old Rod.

Kyogre

To find Kyogre, go to the Cave Of Origin in Sootopolis City. It will be on Level 45 when you catch it. Kyogre is a Water type. Its ability is Drizzle and it summons Rain in battle. Its attacks are Body Slam (Power 85, Accuracy 100), Calm Mind (Power -, Accuracy -), Ice Beam (Power 95, Accuracy100), and Hydro Pump (Power120, Accuracy 80). You can only find Kyogre in Pokemon Sapphire.

Koffing

Found in the Fiery Path. It may be a shiny version.

Illumise and Volbeat

Found on Route 117 only.

Heracross

Found in the Safari Zone.

Grimer

Found in the Fiery Path.

Gorebyss and Huntail

Blaziken: Recommended moves

The best moves for Blaziken are: Blaze Kick, Brick Break, Bulk Up, and Sky Uppercut.

Beldum

After you defeat Steven (the champion), go to his house in Mossdeep City. Read the book (Letter) on the table. It says to take the Pokeball. It contains a Beldum, at level 5. It is a Steel/Psychic type that knows Take Down.

Bagon

Bagon is the first stage of Salamence (Dake’s best Pokemon, which is Dragon and Flying type). You can find it in the smallest room in Meteor Falls.

In-game reset

Hold Select + Start + A + B during game play.

Getting a female starter

Right before you are allowed to choose your starting Pokemon, use the Save option. Now, walk up to the bag and get your desired Pokemon. Restart the game if you want a female starter.

Latios & Latias

When you start the game, you can choose 3 types:

Mudkip, type: WATER, evolves on Lv. 16 into Marshtomp, type: WATER,GROUND, evolves on Lv. 36 into Swampert, type:WATER,GROUND. It will be useful against Leader Wattson in Mauville, Leader Roxanne in Rustboro, Leader Flannery in Lavaridge, and against Leader Tate & Liza in Mossdeep.

Treecko, type: GRASS, evolves into Grovyle on Lv. 16, type: GRASS, evolves in Sceptile on Lv. 36, Type: GRASS. It will be useful against Roxanne and Wallace.

Torchic, type: FIRE, evolves on Lv. 16 into Combusken, type: FIRE,FIGHT, evolves on Lv. 36 into Blaziken, Type:FIRE,FIGHT. It will be useful against Roxanne (when evolved).

Recommended: Mudkip, because it’s useful against much leaders, Torchic, because it’s a fire type, and those are very hard to find in the beginning.

Poochyena

In the beginning of the game, catch a Poochyena. It will be weak first, but if you train it enough it will become very useful against Leader Tate & Liza in Mossdeep City who uses PSICHIC moves that don’t affect DARK types, and also against the 2nd elite 4 who uses GHOST moves that are not effective against DARK types.

Special Secret Base Items

There is sometimes something on the TV that says that lilicove department store has a clear-out sale in sertain days when you go there on the clear-out sale go to the upper roof (where you can buy soda pop lemonade and fresh water.) talk to a man in a white shirt and he want to sell you special SECRET BASE ITEMS like tire, stand, slide, sand ornament, some fences, mudd ball, rhydon/wailmer doll, Tv’s and for some more you have to look for yourself.

Ulimate Pokemon Battle Team

To use this you have to start off with Treeko

Sceptile, Kyogre, Manectric, Tropius, Hariyama, Kecleon.

The reason that this is such a good team is because you have an electric, water, fighting, fire, and two grass (grass pokemon are the overall best type because they have the least amount of weekness’s and alot more pokemon are weaker to grass pokemon than any other pokemon)Trust me if you get all of these pokemon to at least 65 you are garunteed to win against the elite four and any other hard challenges.

Rayquazza- seemingly impossibe, or is it?

Rayquazza is a large, green dragon/flying pokemon, is one of a kind and very difficult to catch. To get to Rayquazza you need to have won against the champion Steven, then go to Pacifilidog town and surf east. There will be a seemingly endless barrier of rocks, you want to be at the top barrier, follow it along and you will come to a gap (finallly) it is above the female swimmer who seems to be patrolling up and down. Follow the rocks around to the left then go up and BEHOLD the sky pillar! Make sure you have the MACH BIKE as you will need to cycle at top speed over bits of cracked floor. After all that stress you will be out in the sunlight and will be stood before Rayquazza it is very strong and is extreeeeemly hard to catch, I recommend you save your MASTER BALL for this mighty beast and treat it well, thats all I got for now, hope I helped and keep gaming!!!

Legendary Pokemon

These are ALL the legendary pokmon available in Pokemon sapphire and how to get them.

1.Kyogre-you need to go to mt. pyre and get the blue orb. then when you get to sootopolis and it won’t stop raining, go into the cave of origin and catch Kyogre

2.Rayquazza-After you beat the elite four, go to pacifidlog and surf east. go around the rocks and find the sky pillar and use the mach bike to get to the top. “BEWARE!” Rayquazza is at level 70!

3.Latias- after you beat the elite four, just walk around. she’ll show up. then it is easy. she will run away each time you meet her, so use sleep. then whittle down her health and use a ultra ball(or a master)WARNING each time you change a route, so does she. But her health doesn’t recover, so it takes time. Watch the pokedex and be patient.

4.Latios-trade from ruby (Latias’ brother)

5.Groudon-trade from ruby

****JIRACHI***** The rarest pokemon of all! the only way to get it is to reserve pokemon collesseum then transfer it to your gameboy with the link cable. JIRACHI is like the mew of ruby & sapphire. The best move, DOOM DESIRE is its’ alone! It is like future sight but is steel type and twice as strong!

Orange Altaria

Go to the fifth floor of the Sky Pillar and save the game. Go to the ione rock and circle around it until you find an orange Altaria.

Catching Rayquaza

I caught Rayquaza with an Ultra ball on level 70 in the Sky Pillar. It is very hard to catch. I reccomend that you save the game before battleing Rayquaza so if you accidently kill it or if it kills you you can shut the game off and turn it back on so you can try to catch it again. Same thing for Kyogre who is in Cave of Origin. So you never run out of tries.

Note:You need to beat the champion before catching Rayquaza.

Dragon Moves Effects

Some dragon moves have effects witch are not described:

Twister: may cause flinching.

Dragonbreath: may cause paralysis.

Unlimited Master Balls

First get the masterball after you beat the elite four, then go out and save your game, turn off the game boy and then turn it back on, go into badges menu then go to your pokedex, then give a pokemon a macho brace, then take it away and give it a masterball, save, and when you log bak on u will have unlimited masterballs.

Minusle and Jiroxy

Get a female plusle and a male minun give one of them a soothe bell and the other a macho brace, then give them to the daycare couple. If they like each other use the mach bike to speed up your steps then the old man will be standing out by the fence talk to him and he will giv u the egg, walk 1500 steps and it will hatch into a Minusle.

The god pokemon Jiroxy is made when you breed a Deoxy and a Jirachi, first u need to gett’em then take them to the daycare couple and leave them, if he says they are getting along then use your mach bike again, ride it for 10,000 steps and it will hatch into a Jiroxy after he gives it to you. It knows Double Slap, the “Desire” move, Super Flamethrower, and Super Vine Whip.

Move Combos

Here are some move combos for your pokemon.

(Encore+Mirror coat/counter)

Use encore to make your opponent repeat its last move for 3-6 turns. Then use mirror coat if it used a special attack,or counter if it used a phyical attack.

(perish song+a strong move+destiny bond)

Use perish song so both pokemon faint after 3 turns, then use a strong move to make it faint. Then use destiny bond when it’s the third turn.

(Focus band equipped+endeavor+attack that always goes first)

Before you do this combo, make sure you have focus band equipped.Use a pokemon with a bad speed score,so the opponent goes first. After your opponent attacks,if you are still alive(because focus band MIGHT leave you with 1 HP,you could also use endure)use endeavor to make your opponent’s HP the same as your’s.Then use a move that always attacks first, such as swift.

Hint: Pokemon you should have

The pokemon you must catch are: swapert, hariyama, jirochy (throgh game shark or codebrecker or a breed), laitios and laitias, all three rigis, rayquass.

Kyogre Recommended Moves

The best moves for kyogre are : Surf, Water Spout, Ice Beam and Thunder.

Rare Candy

You can find a rare candy in route 114. There is a waterfall. Climb it and there will be a rare candy.

Secret Nugget

The Secret Nugget is found near Fallabor. It’s in a crater. First Use Fly to fallabor. You will be in front of the poke-center. Walk all down untill you are against the Mart. go left untill the girl with the azurill. You will see a green house, next to a crater. In that crater you will find a nugget.

Swampert

The best moves for a Swampert are: Surf, Ice Beam, Earthquake, and Muddy Water. Muddy Water is not essential, but with the other three moves and a decent health bar you can defeat the Elite Four with only one pokemon.

Easy-to-get-Ashes

When you find the glass-maker’s house outside of Lavaridge, use lots of Max Repels to keep Pokemon away from you while you gather the ashes for the glass items.

Catch a pokemon always!

When you through a pokeball at a pokemon hold down l,r,a and b. Then wait until the first shake of the ball then release. You’re almost certain to catch a pokemon!

Best Pokemon

At the beginning of the game, you should pick Torchic for your first pokemon(and it’s not because i have a lv 79 blazikien in mine) you should do this, especially in sapphire,(because you get Kyogre), because in the elite four, these two pokemon, when leveled up real good(it will be easy), will rock the house! Teach your blazikien these moves; double kick, blaze kick. these are fire and fighting moves. use these against Sidney(fighting move), Phoebe(fire move) Glacia,(fighting move, and some electricity if you have a strong electric pokemon),and with Drake, use fighting moves, and ice moves. Kyogre should know ice and water moves. Use the ice moves against drake.

for the champian steven;

skarmony;blaze kick

claydol;any water move

aggron;double kick

cradily;preferably blaze kick, but a wayer type move will do.

armaldo;water moves, but you could use double kick.

metagross;blaze kick

these are also preferable pokemon;

manectric;electric

blaziken;fighting/fire

nintales;fire

kyogre;water/ice

glalie;ice

groudon,flygon,swampert,golem,sandslash,donphan; ground

(My favorite types are water, dark, and dragon.)

Hope you like my insight.(And girl gamers; GIRL POWER!!!!)

Blue Electrike

As soon as you walk out of slateport city on the north side, go to the grass on the left and start searching.

Easy way to catch kyogre

First make sure you have at least 40 ultraballs. Then make sure you have a Shedinja at at least Lv25. If you don’t have one then read the cheat in this section which is on how to get Shedinja. Shedinja should know a good move which has an attack power of atleast 30-40. Then go and fight kyogre but before fighting save the game. Before using Shedinja lower kyogres HP by using a powerful pokemon first then let it faint or change it with Shedinja. even though shedinja has 1HP kyogre cannot harm it as it knows only water and ice attack moves. then when Shedinja lowers kyogres HP till it’s hardly visible use the ultraballs till u catch it. Now u have a kyogre with no pokemon fainted. Do the same when u battle Wallace’s Miltoic.

Berries

Go to lilycove go a bit past the move deleter’s house. There will be a man in brown every so often he will give you a berrie.

Best moves for Kyogre

The best moves for Kyogre are : ice beam, hydro pump, sheer cold and thunder.

Get a masterball to catch Kyogre

When you face Team Aqua in Lilycove city. Don’t talk to the woman at the submarine, yet. done in the bottom right hand screen should be a teleporter. Go on it and it’ll take you to a place full of them try out each one until you get to a room with four poke-balls. get the back 2 and you will get a NUGGET and a master-ball.

How to get Jirachi

Beat the pokemon league and look at your trainer card and there will be a star beside your name get 5 and you will get Jirachi

I have figured out 3 so far:

Beat the pokemon League

Get all the decorations

Beat master rank in all competitions

Easy Latias

Go to Lilycove and talk to the kid who says he came from Kanto three or more times.

Then head east to route 121 and keep searching in the grass.

Eventually the legendary beast will appear and he will be yours on the pokedex.

Note: You must have beaten the elite four first and seen it on your tv.

The Berry Dude

When you get to Lilycove city, if you go all the way over to that house where the cove part starts. There is a man in a blackish suit that walks back and forth around that area, if you go talk to him he’ll explain about this weird ‘berry to a T’ thing. Then every so often he will give you a berry, it may not be much but eventually, he’ll give you rare berries, and you can sell them at high prices. And some of them also have good effects on Pokemon. So, have fun talking to a dude that gives you weird berries that remind people of their past and future. Even if you don’t know what your future holds.

Catching Jirachi

To catch Jirachi you have to get 5 stars next to your name on your trainer card.To do that you have to defeat the elite 4,win all five contests and have their portraits drawn, win 50 battles at battle tower, complete your pokedex, and defeat EVERY trainer in the game. Then go to the space center in Modseep and talk to everyone in there. One of them will tell you the number of the flight. If it is flight 100 he may let you on the rocket and you will encounter Jirachi in space.Or you will just encounter him in the wild after you get 5 stars but try the rocket thing first.

Orange Zigzagoon

You can find an orange zigzagoon on route 116. I found it when training for rustboro gym. (I named it zigaorange) About shiny and weird colord pokemon, I think you have to be extremely, EXTREMELY lucky to find one, or they can cary from game to game. for example, I spent over 300 hours at the game and I still haven’t found a shiny swablu.

Starter tactics

Here some tactics for who’s starting (over) the game:

Starter pokemon: My favorite is Mudkip: it’s only weakness is grass, but Torchic is also good, because it’s evolvd forms are good against gym leaders and the elite 4.

Then your other pokemon: catch a Ralts. it’ll take some time searching but eventually you’ll find one. the best way is just to run around in the first patch of grass by the small pond to route 102 and run for every pokemon exept Ralts. you can also run in to a surskit. those are very rare, so catch that one too. your first ralts should have sychronize as it’s ability. if you don’t do anything with the ralts and keep searching the same way. you should find another ralts quickly, and it’s ability will almost always be trace. you know when it has because it says:

Wild Ralts appeared!

Go! MUDKIP! (for example)

Wild Ralts TRACED Mudkip’s TORRENT! That way.

Trace will copy special ability. Then, deposit the ralts with sycronize in the pc. the rest is easy:catch a zigzagoon. his ability is pickup and you will get great items from it.

catch a poochyena.

train them all to lv 10 before battling trainers.

catch a taillow

catch a shroomish

when you get in dewford, catch a sableye in granite cave: it’s only weakness is bug.

replace it for poochyena

you have to get a water type if you choose treecko or torchic as a starter for SURFing later in the game.

Get items very fast

If you’ve been smart, you kept a zigzagoon/linoone at all time in your party because of the pickup ability. It can also learn many tm’s and hm’s, like surf. But now to get to the point. If you have a strong linoone in your party(with strong i mean that it can faint any wild pkmn in 1 slash), store all other pokemon in the PC, go to route 102 and cath 5 zigzagoons. weak zigzagoons get items more fast. Then, go to all sorts of places and train your linoone. in the fiery path and other caves and tunnels, the zigzagoons pick up items very fast and often. Items you can get: Ultra ball, Super potion, Rare candy, Kings rock, pp up, full heal, full restore, nugget, revive, and maybe some other things i forgot. in previos pokemon games, pokemon can evolve different with a kings rock, but not here.look out with rare candies: the exp. points will be brought no zero, so don’t use one on a pkmn that is halfway to the next level.
