Control loading screen

Rotate the Left Analog-stick at the loading screen to make the words and the fire in the background move around. Press L or R to make the screen change colors and have other effects.

Birdskulls

To get the ten Birdskulls, you must first have the assassin’s rifle. After getting the assault rifle, go to the beginning of the path that leads you to Netti’s church. You will see a hut. Turn right and you should see another hut that has/had a Cadeaux in it. Go around it and you will see lots of barrels. Back up slightly and shoot them from a safe distance with the assassin’s rifle. A path will open. Follow the path until you reach a lake with birds flying around and a few crocodiles. Kill the crocodiles before going any further. The birds flying around carry the Birdskulls (one each). Kill ten of them. Note: One of the birds only flies around once in a while so it is difficulty to kill it. Every bird that you kill in this area will drop a birdskull into the water. You must swim to get it. The birdskulls never disappear. In the event that they drop one on a boat, forget about it : you cannot go on top of them. If this happens the game will send you an extra bird.

Cadeaux

When trying to get the second Sigil in Gehenna, instead of trying to balance on the wall to cross the room, just pull the switch to raise the wall sections. Then, wait near the switch for the walls to descend. While the wall is descending, wait for it to be low enough to jump on and quickly jump to the higher platform. Pull the switch there to raise a ladder, then use this ladder after pulling the switch again to get the second Cadeaux.

Nephilim Shard

The Nephilim Shard is given to you by Duncan the first time you see him; immediately after you find Jaunty and the ten bird skulls.

Shadow Gun and watch

You find the Shadow Gun and Mike’s watch in the sepulcher, which is where Duncan sends you. It takes a while until you get there.

Defeating most enemies and Bosses

Circle around the enemy or Boss by pressing either Left on both Analog-sticks or Right on both Analog-sticks. This will make you surround the enemy or boss while keeping your view on it. Then, shoot them with any weapon. If it flies press Right Analog-stick Down slightly, so you can watch it while it flies.

Run backwards

After you have the Watch and the Sniper Rifle, look through the sight then press Select. Get the Watch and switch to Shadowman or Mike. As you are transforming, holster your weapons. Your sight is still there. Press “Reset Camera” or you will run backwards.

Brand New Fear mode

Successfully complete the game under any difficulty. Save the game after the credits complete to unlock the “Brand New Fear” option.

One Weapon mode

Successfully complete the game with a rank of 10 big stars.

Chainsaw

Start a game in “Brand New Fear” mode. After entering the Forest World for the first time go to Jasper’s car. Search near by for a cut tree trunk. Look next to it to find the chainsaw.

Submachine gun

Successfully complete the game with a rank of at least 9 big stars. Start a game in “Brand New Fear” mode and look in Room 202 in the Apartment World to find a submachine gun for Eileen.

Alternate Eileen costume

Start a game in “Brand New Fear” mode. Continue until the “Outside of Room 302″ part of the game. Enter Room 303 and search it for Eileen’s nurse costume. Collect it and complete the game. When you start a new game, you can now have Eileen dressed as a nurse.

Alternate Cynthia costume

Unlock all four endings and Eileen’s alternate costume on a single game save. Start a new game and select Eileen’s nurse costume. Cynthia will wear her alternate costume.

The Man’s Doll

When a strange man places the doll on the stairway, do not take it. It actually makes things worse for you afterwards. If you place it in your storage box, babies will appear above the box, making it difficult to check your items. Your only choice would be to hold it in your inventory, but it requires a slot that you may need.

Mannequin body parts

When you enter the forest for the second time, go to the corner with the torch. Take the torch and take it to your laundry room in your apartment. Use the oil found on the workbench inside there on the torch. When you return, you may light it when you approach the other torches pressing [Action]. This is used to see down each well that happens to be in each corner of the map. Be cautious however, if you use the torch to attack or unequip it, it will go out. This causes you to turn back to light it. Killing all of the enemies first and running from the man chasing you is recommended.

Saint Necklace

Wearing the Saint Necklace, it has two usesl to keep your “ghost sense” from causing actual damage, and to actually exorcise spirits from your apartment. When wearing it in any other world besides the apartment, the screen will do its usual haziness when ghosts appear, but nothing more until the necklace breaks. Keep in mind that the necklace will break if you are confronted by ghosts for too long. Wearing the necklace and running to a possessed area of your apartment will cause the spirit to fight back, but if the necklace is not already broken, the spirit will lose and disappear. Keep in mind that you must have your apartment completely exorcised for the good endings.

Sword Of Obedience

There is no need to waste a sword if you are just entering areas for items. Instead, knock the ghost down and stab it with the sword, get what you need, and take the sword back. After taking the blade out, you have five to seven seconds to leave without your “ghost sense” ringing out.

Midwhich Elementary school bus

When looking out of your window during the day, you will notice a school bus. If you look close enough, you will notice it is A Midwhich Elementary school bus. This is a reference to the original Silent Hill, where it is the school in which you visit within the first thirty minutes of the game.

Ghost Cynthia and the candle:

Unlike most ghosts, if a candle is placed in front of the ghost Cynthia, she will stand in place and scream as her hair begins to float in every other direction. Other ghosts simply fall.

Eileen’s Special Gift

Once you get to the wish house, after it has burnt down the mysterious writing in blood can be read aloud by Eileen. After some adjusting she will say “Okay…here goes…” and read the words.

Eileen’s damage

If you allow Eileen to take enough damage, her appearance will change for the worst, and she will walk faster towards the pool in the final battle.

Endings

To get different types of endings, you must do one of four things. Either clear your apartment of ghosts before the final battle, or do not; and let Eileen die or not. These two course of actions create four different endings.

Call restaurant

When you look out your window, you can see the phone number of a restaurant. You can use the phone to call that number for fun.

Radio clues

Notice the suspicious radio in Henry’s living room. At certain parts throughout the game, you will be able to listen to certain broadcasts. Listen to them carefully as they will be part of the story and clue you into what is going on. After you finish the subway, take out the chocolate milk and keep it in your inventory; then save and restart. When you reload, look through the front door peephole then go to the radio for a broadcast from Washington. They will talk about a 3 year old boy.

Guns

The use of guns is not necessary. It is quite easy to use melee weapons throughout the game. Also, using guns on ghosts prove ineffective unless the bullets are silver.

Batting practice

When remaining idle with the aluminum bat is equipped, Henry will begin to practice his swing.

Ghost Richard’s attacks

Richard is immediately seen when revisiting the store. His attacks are irritating to dodge due to his teleportation habits. A way to stop him from attacking you momentarily is to stand against the wall. He has a tendency to appear behind you. Put your back against the wall and swing at him. If done correctly, Richard will counter attack by teleporting inside of the wall. This will cause his attack animation to repeat itself once the attack gets halfway near you for a few seconds. Use that time to use the sword, or run.

Defeating Dennis:

Dennis will use Sponge Bob as a hockey stick and hit toilets at you (which means you are Patrick). If you upgraded Pat’s Star Spin, use it to hit them back at him. The entire battle remains the same, except after a chunk of his health is gone enemies will appear and spin attack you. Jump on their heads. In part two of the battle, you will be Sponge Bob. Dennis wil throw daggers at you. Just dodge them. Attack him with a Bubble Bowl. Again, the fight is the same, only fish with giant crowbars will try to hit you. If you upgraded your Bubble Bowl, detonate it between Dennis and an enemy if they are close.

Defeating the frogfish

The fight starts with Patrick. The frogfish will try to ram you at first. Dodge it by cartwheeling out of the way (because Patrick is so slow). If it hits you, hit the old lady on its tongue. Once you clear the green part of its health bar, it will jump to another platform. It will dig with its tongue and try to hit you. Hit the tongue. Keep repeating this. When the fish jumps to the other platform, the tongue will do a spinning attack. Slam it !

Defeating Plankton’s statues

To defeat the giant statues, hit it on the eye with a Sonic Wave Guitar Attack when it is open. However, they can also attack. The first is easy. It will shoot big molten rocks at you. Wait until half a second after the eye closes and start the Sonic Guitar. It should be open by the time you hit it. The next one is easier. Stand on the platform to the left and its eye will try to shoot you. Jump to the right and use a guitar. The next two are the easiest. There will be enemies guarding them, but they are pushovers. Hit the missiles that they throw at you back at them (via the Macho Karate Spin). Then, one eye will open, attempting to send out more enemies. Just hit the eye. Do the same with the other one. The last one is actually a mini-Boss (although it has no health bar). It takes three hits to defeat it. First, take out the three enemies in the middle platform. then go to the closest platform and kill the enemies as you go. Next, jump on the springboard and prepare for a fight. The conveyors will start moving and the eye will open. It will shoot a laser at the front conveyor belt, and also shoot out a ball of lava. Wait until it is done, then jump to the front belt. immediately use a Sonic Guitar. Do the same thing two more times to win.

Reactivate God mode

To reenter God mode after you have created your City, hold [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Shift] and click the “God Mode” button. The tools will not be the post-establishment tools, but will revert back to pre-city tools. They will remain that way as long as you stay in God mode, otherwise they go back to normal.

Double rewards

Enable the you don’t deserve it code, and write down requirements for reward (hold the pointer over the picture.) Place that reward. Then, do the requirements for it. Neil Fairbanks will ask your permission to build the reward a second time in your city.

Brainwashing

On the adviser screen, click the query box, then click the “X” on the bad or good messages.

Save money on traffic

Building highways is a heavy hitter on your budget, and noisy as well. If you place two roads side by side and connect every segment with streets (roads have stoplights), then you should be able to get traffic moving just as fast as on highways, but much cheaper and quieter.

Abort Obliteration

If the “Obliterate City” button under “God Mode” was accidentally clicked, anytime before the game screen starts flashing white, press [Esc]. The game will stop the obliteration sequence.
